CP OJAJUNI STRENGTHENS TIES WITH NDLEA, DECORATED AS WADA AMBASSADOR

In a moment of shared collaboration and shared purpose, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajun, paid a familiarization visit to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Ogun State Command, where he was warmly received by State Commander Tijani Rabe. 

The visit underscored the growing importance of inter-agency cooperation in tackling drug abuse and trafficking, with both sides emphasizing intelligence sharing, joint operations and coordinated public awareness.


In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Command, DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, the visit was described as a strategic step toward strengthening collaboration between the police and NDLEA. The statement highlighted the shared commitment of both agencies to confronting substance abuse and its ripple effects on crime and community safety.

In a symbolic highlight of the visit, CP Ojajuni was decorated with the War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) Ambassadorial Tag, recognizing his role in advocating for a drug-free society. He expressed appreciation for the honour and reaffirmed the Command’s readiness to work closely with NDLEA in addressing drug-related challenges.
The visit, while official, carried a tone of optimism, signaling that when agencies work together, the fight against drugs and crime stands on firmer ground.
