Sierra Leone Coup Attempt : President Julius Maada Addresses The Nation, Says He In Control

Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio addressed the Nation on National Security, especially on attacks on the Wilberforce Barrack Armory, the Pademba Road Prison Correction Centre, and other locations.

He assured the citizens of Sierra Leone that the situation was under control and that everyone should adhere to the security measures.

According to Zagazola, Soriba, and Leather Boot, two key Loyalists to former President Koroma were caught during the crossfire.

They were commanding the troops that tried to take over the governance on the 26th of November, 2023, in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
