OGUN POLICE BEGIN SCREENING EXERCISE FOR GENERAL DUTY AND SPECIALIST CONSTABLES
The Ogun State Police Command has announced that the physical and credential screening for applicants seeking recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force as General Duty and Specialist Police Constables will take place from 9th March to 18th April 2026. The exercise will begin daily at 7:00 a.m. at POWA Hall, Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.
The screening is strictly for Ogun State indigenes who successfully completed the online registration, and the Command has stressed that the entire recruitment process is free of charge.
Applicants are advised to visit the official recruitment portal to confirm their screening date and print their invitation slips before arriving at the venue. Candidates must appear on their scheduled dates with all required documents, including their invitation slip, application submission slip, screening forms, guarantor’s form, NIN printout or card, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or declaration of age, certificate of origin and any relevant trade certificate for specialist applicants. They must also come with original and photocopies of their credentials in two white flat files with passport photographs, and be dressed in white T-shirt, white shorts, white canvas shoes and white stockings. The Command also urged the public to report anyone requesting money in connection with the recruitment exercise.
