In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Command, DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, the coordinated raid code-named “Operation Keep Sagamu Safe”, was the result of strategic collaboration between the police, community stakeholders and other security agencies. The statement noted that the operation targeted identified flashpoints where criminal elements were believed to be operating, with the aim of proactively disrupting potential threats and reinforcing safety across Sagamu and its' surrounding communities.
