OGUN POLICE INSPECT JAMB CBT CENTRES, ASSURE STUDENT SAFETY

The Ogun State Police Command has carried out an inspection of several JAMB Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across the state, reinforcing security measures for the ongoing examinations. The visit was led by the Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni alongside the  Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Bolanle Muritala. The inspection focused on evaluating the level of security deployment and ensuring a safe environment for candidates sitting for the exams.

In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, the Command reaffirmed its' commitment to the safety of all students. The statement noted that officers were professionally deployed across centres and that adequate measures have been put in place to guarantee a calm and secure atmosphere. The Command also urged candidates to remain orderly and cooperate with security personnel to ensure a smooth and hitch-free examination process.

Police authorities expressed satisfaction with the conduct of officers on duty and reassured parents and stakeholders that security coverage will remain consistent throughout the examination period.
