The Ogun State Police Command has issued a public warning over a fake 2026 Recruitment Medical Screening Schedule currently making the rounds online, cautioning applicants not to fall victim to misinformation or fraudsters attempting to exploit the recruitment process.

In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Command, DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, the Command clarified that no official date has been announced for the medical screening exercise. The statement described the circulating notice as fraudulent and urged candidates to ignore unofficial messages, screenshots and social media posts claiming otherwise.

Police authorities advised applicants to rely only on verified platforms for authentic updates regarding the recruitment exercise. According to the Command, official information will only be published through the Police Service Commission website, NPF Recruitment Portal and the official social media handle @PSCNigeria.

The Command also encouraged candidates to stay alert and avoid individuals promising shortcuts, payments or insider access tied to the recruitment process.
